I’m Adele Croft, and this is the beginning of my work as an author writing dark MM mafia romance—stories rooted in power, obsession, and devotion that isn’t safe or easy. I’ve been a reader of MM romance for years, but the stories that stayed with me were never gentle. They were the ones that hurt a little. The ones where love cost something. The ones where choosing each other meant burning everything else down.

That’s the space I write in.

My debut series, The Calderone Syndicate, begins with The Underboss—a story about control, loyalty, and the dangerous intimacy that forms when two men are pulled into the same orbit and neither of them can step away. These books aren’t about redemption through softness. They’re about men who make brutal choices and live with them. About power dynamics that are explicit, earned, and never accidental. About devotion that looks violent from the outside and feels inevitable from within.

I’m drawn to morally grey characters, unbalanced power, and relationships forged under pressure rather than safety. Expect explicit heat, slow-burn obsession, and emotional stakes that escalate alongside the violence. These stories don’t flinch, and neither do the men in them.

This website will be where I share updates, glimpses into upcoming projects, and the aesthetics and ideas that shape this world. There will be behind-the-scenes looks, but there won’t be apologies for the darkness. Everything here is intentional.
